Mini-Facelift (MACS-Lift, Limited Incision Facelift)

Description
A Facelift technique for surgical rejuvenation of the face that involves a shorter incision to elevate sagging tissues mostly of the lower half of the face. An isolated Necklift (Platysmaplasty) may be performed at the same time to achieve additional rejuvenation of the neck.

Length of Surgery
Two to four hours

In / Outpatient
Outpatient

Anesthesia
Local with Conscious IV Sedation or General

Recovery Time from Treatment
Return to work in 5 to 14 days. Swelling, bruising and stiffness may persist for 3 to 4 weeks.

Treatment Frequency
Generally once, but may be repeated with changes due to natural aging. 

Risks-Include but not limited to
Infection, bleeding, nerve injury, asymmetry, irregular scar formation, altered hairline, complications related to anesthesia.

Duration of Results
Long-lasting, though continued aging may eventually affect the results.
